Russian President Putin inspects Russian military factories
According to a report by TASS on September 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin inspected the Motovilikha Arms Plant in Perm on the same day. The report stated that on "Arms Engineer Day," Putin visited the Perm Krai region. He toured the Motovilikha Arms Plant, which produces advanced artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems. Putin also viewed an exhibition of advanced weapons and military equipment samples. The displayed weapons included the "Pechora" air defense artillery system, which is used against aerial targets, including drones. Additionally, there was the TOS-2 heavy flamethrower system, which has been deployed to the troops and used in special military operations. The report also mentioned that President Putin stated during a conversation with the workers of the Motovilikha Arms Plant that the production of certain types of Russian weapons has increased several times, with some products growing nearly 30 times. He said, "The quality is also changing. The equipment is becoming modernized and more popular." The report noted that Putin pointed out that the special military operation will eventually end, but Russia will continue to develop its armed forces. He told the workers, "I hope and believe that these events related to the special military operation will pass, but the demand for modern armed forces will not end as a result. On the contrary, we will continue to develop the armed forces to make them more modern, streamlined, and powerful."
