Arc'teryx apologizes on external network for blaming the Chinese team
On September 21, Arc'teryx officially released an English apology, stating, "We are in direct communication with the local artists involved and our China team to resolve this matter, and we will also change our way of working to ensure that such incidents do not happen again." The apology has been criticized for severing the Arc'teryx brand from the China team and shifting the blame onto them. Arc'teryx is a high-end outdoor apparel brand from Canada, and its parent company is Amer Sports, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.
