Successful delivery of IWS Sunwalker

Integrated Wind Solutions ASA ("IWS") has, through its subsidiary, IWS FleetAS,today taken delivery of its sixth Commissioning Service Operation Vessel("CSOV"), IWS Sunwalker, from the shipyard China Merchants Industry HoldingsCo., Ltd. ("CMI").IWS Sunwalker is a state-of-the-art Commissioning Service Operation Vessel("CSOV"), purpose-built to provide services to offshore wind farms. The vesselis the final in a series of six identical Skywalker Class sister vesselsdelivered by the shipyard CMI. It was ordered in January 2023 and delivered inline with the original yard price of approximately EUR 52.5 million.With this delivery, IWS Fleet has completed its EUR 288 million newbuildingprogram with the yard. The newbuilding program was debt-financed by the greensenior secured credit facility of EUR 186.9 million, of which EUR 170 millioniscurrently outstanding after repayments. The company is in a strong financialposition with an average secured debt of only EUR 28 million per vessel.The Skywalker Class is designed by Kongsberg Maritime and equipped with thelatest generation 3D compensated gangway and crane systems. The vessels haveseveral "industry firsts", such as the largest battery packs in the industrywith solar panels for additional charging, and a novel hull and propulsiondesign that increases operability and reduces emissions.
