Anna Breman becomes the first female governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, taking office in December
New Zealand's Finance Minister Nicola Willis announced the appointment of Anna Breman as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, effective December 1, making her the first female governor in the bank's history.
Breman is currently the First Deputy Governor of the Swedish Central Bank and is the first foreign national to be appointed as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in at least thirty-seven years
