Join CnEVPost on Telegram or Google News Meanwhile, three original Qin Plus trims were discontinued, while the remaining three configurations each received a RMB 10,000 discount.The second-generation Qin Plus now offers two PHEV variants, both starting at RMB 79,800, and four BEV variants with starting prices of RMB 89,800, RMB 109,800, RMB 99,800, and RMB 119,800 respectively.After applying the RMB 10,000 discount, the Qin Plus's starting price drops to RMB 69,800.The newly added PHEV variant boasts a battery range of 128 kilometers, while the two BEV variants offer ranges of 420 kilometers and 510 kilometers respectively.The Qin Plus was initially launched in March 2021, available only as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) at that time. Its battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants were launched in August 2021.The A-class sedan measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,837 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,718 mm.In February this year, BYD launched the Qin Plus smart driving edition equipped with the God's Eye C system utilizing a visual solution.The Qin family ranks among BYD's top-selling product lines, with 732,252 units sold in 2024. It contributed 17.14 percent to BYD's annual new energy vehicle (NEV) sales last year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.The Qin family sold 62,561 units in August, making it BYD's best-selling lineup.
