On the 27th, at the 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Conference, Wan Gang, Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology and Chairman of the World New Energy Vehicle Conference, stated: "To achieve L3 and L4 level autonomous driving, it requires the support of intelligent roads and cloud computing technology platforms. Specifically, it is necessary to upload the situations and handling methods encountered by vehicles during driving to the cloud platform for large model training, and then feedback the upgraded capabilities to the vehicle side, forming a closed loop from the vehicle side to the cloud side, in order to truly enhance autonomous driving capabilities." In Wan Gang's view, the core premise of autonomous driving is safety, which should be based on high-quality scene data, efficient computing power deployment, and systematic testing and experimentation. Through the training of large autonomous driving models and testing and verification of typical scenarios, vehicles should be able to navigate complex traffic environments smoothly. For example, even in the case of traffic signal failure, they should still comply with driving rules, etc
