Morgan Stanley: Demand for iPhone 17 and Pro series exceeds expectations

Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring released a research report indicating that demand for Apple's iPhone 17 / Pro series phones is higher than expected, with overall shipment volumes looking optimistic. The analyst stated that based on information from supply chain sources and the shipping times from Apple Store, early demand for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max phones is strong, slightly exceeding their initial expectations, while demand for the iPhone Air has been relatively weak so far. Supply chain surveys suggest that the iPhone 17 series may soon see an increase in production capacity, with Apple planning to boost the production capacity of new iPhone models to over 90 million units in the second half of this year, up from the currently expected 84 million to 86 million units
