Cui Dongshu from the Passenger Car Association: Many new pure electric passenger vehicles in September have a range of over 600 kilometers
On October 4th, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the Passenger Car Association, stated that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's website continues to publish the list of new energy vehicle models eligible for vehicle purchase tax exemptions for the first half of the year. This reflects the significant changes in the technology routes of new energy vehicles, with hydrogen fuel experiencing a downturn and a clear trend of tax savings through electric alternatives to oil. Overall, the technology improvement of tax-exempt models has been relatively stable. In September, there were many pure electric passenger vehicles with a range of over 600 kilometers. The battery swap models in September were concentrated in special vehicles. There is a rich supply of high energy density products for range-extended and pure electric vehicles. Since the second half of 2024, no hydrogen fuel models have been launched for passenger cars. In 2025, there will be 202 range-extended models for cars, and a large number of range-extended models for commercial heavy trucks will also be launched. Many competitive new energy models have been introduced by traditional autonomous car manufacturers
