According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Sichuan Gold (001337.SZ) announced that on August 13, 2025, the Natural Resources Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region entrusted the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government Service and Public Resource Trading Center to issue the "Announcement on the Listing and Transfer of 9 Exploration Rights including the Geothermal Survey of the Xia'erxili Hotel in Bole City, Xinjiang in 2025" (2025-KYQCR14). On September 30, the company successfully bid for the exploration rights of the Kugezi-Juebei Gold Mine in the Gaochang District of Xinjiang for 510 million RMB. The exploration area is located in an important gold mineralization belt in China - the Central Tianshan mineralization belt, where the ore body is controlled by northwest-southeast trending folds and faults. The gold anomaly zone in the exploration area extends for several kilometers and is consistent with the direction of the controlling mineral structures, indicating favorable geological conditions for mineralization and significant exploration potential
