Ryanair plans to cut 1.2 million seats on its Spain routes next year
Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary announced on Wednesday that flights to Spain will reduce by 1.2 million seats before next summer, primarily due to rising airport charges and limited government support. He confirmed the closure of the Santiago base and the suspension of all flights to and from Asturias.
O'Leary added that Boeing (BA.US) is expected to receive certification for its Max 7 and Max 10 models next year, at which point production will increase to 48 aircraft per month in March
