Tmall Global: A total of 1,724 overseas new brands opened their first stores in the first three quarters of this year

Alibaba (09988.HK) subsidiary platform Tmall Global data shows that in the first three quarters of this year, a total of 1,724 overseas new brands opened their first stores on the platform. Among them, the number of new brands that settled in the third quarter reached 657, equivalent to 7 overseas brands opening online in China for the first time each day. As Tmall's Double 11 approaches, the speed of new brand entries has significantly accelerated, with the number of new brands entering in September reaching a monthly record high, a month-on-month increase of 16%.

The new brands come from 43 countries and regions worldwide, with the highest number of new brands from the United States, South Korea, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. Among these, the number of new brands from South Korea has the fastest growth rate, increasing by over 40% year-on-year.
