Starting from October 15, Shanghai will implement restrictions on the use of National IV diesel cargo vehicles within the G1503 Shanghai Ring Expressway area
According to the announcement issued by the Municipal Transportation Commission, the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, and the Municipal Public Security Bureau in September 2024 regarding the restriction of National IV diesel cargo vehicles in the city, starting from October 15, 2025, National IV diesel cargo vehicles will be prohibited from driving on roads within the G1503 Shanghai Ring Expressway throughout the day. Violations of the traffic regulations will be handled by the city's public security traffic management department in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China
