
Novo Nordisk's Shanghai modernized warehousing and logistics center has been fully operational
On October 15th, reporters learned from Novo Nordisk that its modern warehousing and logistics center located in the Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone has fully commenced operations. The company stated that the Novo Nordisk Shanghai modern warehousing and logistics center is expected to obtain the "Drug Business License" and "Medical Device Business License" by the end of 2024, and successfully completed its first trial operation in April this year. This warehousing and logistics center will comprehensively serve the treatment areas of diabetes, obesity, and other related medications and devices, further enhancing Novo Nordisk's flexibility and resilience in the Chinese supply chain. Zhou Xiaping, Senior Vice President of Novo Nordisk Global and President of Greater China, stated that the warehousing and logistics center in Shanghai is a key component of the company's supply chain in China, reinforcing Shanghai's position as a commercial operation and innovation engine in Novo Nordisk's layout in China
