The two-year U.S. Treasury yield fell by about 8 basis points, approaching 3.41%

The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond briefly plunged from around 4.02% to below 3.99%, with an overall decline of more than 3.3 basis points; the yield on the 30-year U.S. Treasury bond fell back below the 4.6% mark, currently down more than 2.5 basis points;

The yield on the 2-year U.S. Treasury bond dropped from around 3.47% to nearly 3.41%, hitting a new low since September 2022, with a daily decline of about 8 basis points.

The S&P 500 index fell by 0.65%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 284 points, a decline of 0.61%, the Nasdaq fell 142 points, a decline of 0.63%, the semiconductor index decreased by 0.34%, the banking index fell by 1.94%, and the Russell 2000 index dropped by 1.09%. Tesla fell by 1.95%, and Apple dropped by 1.11%
