Beike Biotechnology founder Hu Junyuan: AI can help efficiently collect health data, and the effect is disruptive
The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference will be held from October 16 to 18 at the Expo Park in Huangpu District, Shanghai. Hu Junyuan, founder and chairman of Beike Biotechnology, attended and delivered a speech. In his speech, Hu Junyuan mentioned that AI can help efficiently collect health data, and the effect is disruptive. "As long as we have one milliliter of blood, using a complete set of methods to accurately and sensitively measure tens of thousands of metabolic molecules in the blood, and then profile each disease, we can initially identify 15 types of tumors for pan-cancer," he said. He used colorectal cancer as an example, stating that for newly diagnosed patients, 97% undergo a colonoscopy for the first time. Now, by analyzing one milliliter of blood, we can distinguish between colorectal cancer and polyps in different quadrants, providing over 90% accuracy in telling whether there are polyps, adenomas, or colorectal cancer. This significantly increases the efficiency of subsequent colonoscopies
