Nio actively responds to the special rectification action by six departments, legally combating online infringement. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments recently launched a special rectification action against online chaos in the automotive industry, focusing on behaviors such as "defaming and attacking automotive companies or automotive products, tarnishing the reputation of companies or products" and "using generative artificial intelligence technology to produce false content." Nio firmly supports and actively cooperates with this special action, legally safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the company and its users, and jointly creating a clear online space. The holder of the online account "BelieveDB," Dong Bin, has been continuously and intensively posting false statements targeting Nio and Nio users through platforms like Weibo since 2023, long-term attacking and defaming Nio and its users, severely damaging the legitimate rights and interests of Nio and its users, and polluting the clear online environment. Recently, the court ruled in the first instance that Dong Bin lost the case, ordering him to immediately stop the infringement, publicly apologize to Nio, and legally compensate Nio for its losses. The lawful judgment in this case fully reflects the determination to govern online chaos and highlights the active role of the law in maintaining a fair online environment. Recently, we noticed that the online account "Roadside News Agency" spread rumors related to Nio's capital market through its WeChat public account, filled with a large amount of AI-generated false information. Once these rumors were published, numerous online accounts began to disseminate them frequently and in bulk across different online platforms, causing serious damage to Nio's reputation and market environment. We have collected evidence against "Roadside News Agency" and several online accounts behind the rumor dissemination and reported it to the public security authorities. Currently, the public security authorities have legally filed an investigation. Nio will resolutely advance legal procedures to hold the responsible parties accountable. Nio always adheres to positive values, firmly believes that only high-quality services and products can serve as the foundation for the company and promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry. We will not tolerate any malicious infringement behaviors such as black public relations and water armies targeting Nio and Nio users.
