Volvo anticipates a slight weakening in the North American truck market next year due to cautious customer behavior and ongoing uncertainties related to tariffs and emissions regulations. The North American long-haul freight market is in recession, with a 14% drop in group truck orders. Despite a 10% rise in Mack-branded truck orders, deliveries fell 20% as production was cut. Volvo has adjusted operations and lowered its 2025 North American truck market forecast by 10,000 trucks, while maintaining European guidance. The company reported a third-quarter net profit of 7.54 billion kronor, down from 10.02 billion a year earlier.
