Ele.me announces stock option repurchase plan
Multiple former and current employees of Ele.me received emails stating that the original local life options from Alibaba could be exchanged for cash or Alibaba Group stock, with a repurchase price of RMB 36 per share. Former employees with vested options can redeem them for cash; current employees with unvested options can choose to convert them into cash, Alibaba Group stock, or a combination of cash and stock as long-term incentives
