HKBN Enterprise Solutions has reached a strategic cooperation with Beiyiao to develop low-altitude economy and smart cities
HKBN Enterprise Solutions has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Beijing Remote Sensing Technology Research Institute. The two parties will combine the technology of the Institute in the field of aerospace remote sensing with HKBN's network resources, customer base, and digital solutions to jointly explore commercial applications in low-altitude economy, smart cities, and the Internet of Things, and respond to the national "integrated development of air, space, land, and sea" strategy, contributing to the construction of digital infrastructure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
According to the agreement, the two parties will establish a joint working group to promote multiple key cooperation directions, including deploying satellite ground stations in Hong Kong, building a "satellite + 5G" integrated network; launching remote sensing data as a service (DaaS) to provide commercial satellite data support for enterprise customers; providing integrated communication, navigation, and remote sensing solutions and total integration services for smart city construction and major infrastructure projects; researching low-altitude economy communication and airspace management technology to promote applications such as drone logistics; and carrying out demonstration projects for infrastructure monitoring and emergency management.
The two parties will focus on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, promoting the deep integration of satellite communication and ground networks, and expanding business opportunities in emerging fields such as low-altitude economy and smart cities. At the same time, they will utilize Hong Kong's international platform to promote integrated communication and navigation solutions, assisting in the coordinated development of the national aerospace industry and Hong Kong's telecommunications industry
