
Meta has reached a $27 billion financing agreement for the world's largest data center project
Meta (META.US) has reached a $27 billion financing agreement with alternative asset management company Blue Owl Capital for its largest data center project globally, marking Meta's largest private capital agreement to date.
According to the agreement, Meta will retain a 20% stake in the project, with the majority stake held by Blue Owl Capital. Blue Owl Capital will contribute approximately $7 billion in cash to the joint venture, and Meta will also receive a one-time cash payment of about $3 billion.
The data center is located in Louisiana and is expected to provide over 2 gigawatts of computing capacity to support large language model training
