Samsung launches new Galaxy XR headset at half the price of Apple's Vision Pro

Samsung Electronics released the Galaxy XR headset, hoping to leverage Google's AI capabilities to enter the market dominated by Meta (META.US) and Apple (AAPL.US).

The Galaxy XR headset is similar to headsets produced by companies like Meta, but is priced at only $1,799, about half the price of Apple's Vision Pro. Samsung executives stated that a lighter headset will be launched next, but declined to disclose further details
