CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK) Customer and Business President Liu Kaishi stated that after the peak summer travel season, passenger demand in September is generally quieter, while the group's overall passenger volume has still increased compared to the same period last year. CATHAY PAC AIR and Hong Kong Express carried a total of over 2.7 million passengers last month, an increase of 20%. Meanwhile, with the traditional peak season for air cargo approaching, CATHAY PAC AIR's cargo volume in September exceeded 130,000 tons, slightly higher than the same period last year.

In September, CATHAY PAC AIR carried 2.1984 million passengers, an increase of 21% compared to the same period in 2024; available seat kilometers increased by 19.7%. In the first nine months of this year, the total passenger volume reached 20.9962 million, an increase of 26.8%. During the month, Hong Kong Express carried nearly 530,000 passengers, an increase of 16%, with available seat kilometers increasing by 11%.

CATHAY PAC AIR's cargo volume in September was 134,900 tons, an increase of 1.4%, with available cargo ton kilometers increasing by 4% year-on-year. In the first nine months, the cargo volume reached 1.2156 million tons, an increase of 10.2%
