On October 23, LG Electronics announced that it will join the global automotive software trading platform SDVerse to enhance the competitiveness of its automotive parts business and strengthen its strategic layout in the global automotive software ecosystem. SDVerse was jointly founded by General Motors, Magna International, and Wipro in 2024, and is the world's first B2B trading platform for automotive software. The platform builds a precisely matched trading market for buyers and sellers of embedded automotive software through an independent industry-driven procurement process, connecting global automotive manufacturers, parts suppliers, and software developers
