Amazon is developing a new tool for its vast logistics network: augmented reality (AR) glasses integrated with artificial intelligence. Inside the vehicle, the glasses highlight the packages that need to be delivered in green and automatically scan them as the driver picks them up, updating the virtual list in real-time. Subsequently, the glasses project a digital path on the ground, guiding the driver to the customer's doorstep. Upon arrival, the system prompts the driver to take a photo as proof of delivery, which can be completed by tapping a controller on their chest, thus concluding the delivery at that location.
