Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association: Nexperia in the Netherlands claims it may not be able to guarantee delivery, which could severely impact production for companies
The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) issued a statement on October 23, confirming that Nexperia, based in the Netherlands, has notified component manufacturers that it may not be able to guarantee deliveries. JAMA stated that its member companies are currently working closely with component manufacturers to resolve this issue. JAMA noted that the chips produced by this manufacturer are important components for devices such as electronic control units, "We recognize that this issue will have a serious impact on the global production of our member companies, and we hope that the relevant countries can quickly find practical solutions."
