Gold mining stocks rose in pre-market trading along with gold prices, as Scotiabank analyst Tanya Jakusconek upgraded the ratings of mining stocks. Newmont rose 2.0% in pre-market trading, Barrick rose 2.0%, and AngloGold rose 0.81%
