According to the 21st Century Business Herald, as the third quarter reports of listed companies are gradually disclosed, the adjustment roadmap of the social security fund, one of the main forces of the "national team," is becoming clearer. As of October 22, the social security fund has appeared in 43 individual stocks at the end of the third quarter, with a total market value exceeding 15.5 billion yuan (the same below).

From the disclosed positions, the operations of the social security fund in the third quarter show a distinct characteristic of "leading stocks as the foundation, technology as the spear." While maintaining its positions in traditional leading sectors such as pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, it is beginning to tilt towards technology innovation fields such as telecommunications and electronics.

Wind data shows that, according to the third quarter report data of listed companies disclosed as of October 22, the social security fund appeared in the top ten circulating shareholders of 43 individual stocks at the end of the third quarter, with a total shareholding of 738 million shares and a market value of 15.52 billion yuan. The ten individual stocks with the highest market value held by the social security fund are: HAID GROUP (002311.SZ) 1.832 billion yuan, CJS (600176.SH) 1.483 billion yuan, Cangge Mining (000408.SZ) 1.05 billion yuan, Huace Navigation (300627.SZ) 1.029 billion yuan, Poly Development (600048.SH) 974 million yuan, Siyuan Electric (002028.SZ) 902 million yuan, Sankeshu (603737.SH) 719 million yuan, China National Pharmaceutical Group (600511.SH) 653 million yuan, Invec (002837.SZ) 521 million yuan, and Baiya Shares (003006.SZ) 491 million yuan.

Industry insiders generally believe that there is a clear logical support behind the adjustment path of the social security fund in the third quarter. The insider pointed out that the shareholding structure of the social security fund in the third quarter is mainly concentrated in three major directions: pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, high-end manufacturing, and large consumption, with a moderate extension to basic chemicals, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery sectors, demonstrating a balanced allocation approach between traditional industries and emerging industries.
