MAOYE INT'L appoints BDO Hong Kong as the new auditor
MAOYE INT'L announced that PricewaterhouseCoopers has resigned as its auditor, effective October 24, 2025, due to a failure to reach an agreement on audit fees. The board has decided to appoint BDO Limited as the new auditor, effective from the same date, with a term ending at the conclusion of the next annual general meeting
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, MAOYE INT'L (00848) announced that PricewaterhouseCoopers has resigned as the company's auditor, effective from October 24, 2025. This is due to the company's failure to reach a consensus with PricewaterhouseCoopers on the audit fees for the consolidated financial statements of the company and its subsidiaries for the year ending December 31, 2025.
The board further announced that, upon the recommendation of the audit committee, it has resolved to appoint BDO Limited as the new auditor, effective from October 24, 2025, to fill the temporary vacancy left by the resignation of PricewaterhouseCoopers, with a term lasting until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting of the company's shareholders
