Microsoft Azure services have returned to normal after a global outage

Microsoft's Azure stated that its services are being significantly improved in the areas affected by the outage, which impacted the tech giant's productivity software suite and multiple industries worldwide. Alaska Airlines earlier on Wednesday reported that due to the Azure disruption, the company's critical systems, including its website, would come back online once Microsoft resolves the issue. Vodafone was also affected by the outage after the website of London's Heathrow Airport was impacted earlier that day. Azure mentioned on its status page that by 7:20 PM Eastern Time, "there were noticeable signs of improvement in the affected areas, and it is moving towards full resolution." The affected services include Azure Communication Services and Media Services, among others
