Biogen lowers full-year adjusted earnings per share guidance

Biogen's adjusted earnings per share for the third quarter were $4.81, compared to $4.08 in the same period last year.

Third-quarter revenue was $2.54 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%, estimated at $2.34 billion.

Biogen expects adjusted earnings per share for the full year to be between $14.50 and $15.00, down from the previous estimate of $15.50 to $16.00.

Biogen's U.S. stock fell nearly 2% in pre-market trading
