This week, copper prices in London reached a historic high, but analysts warn that this rally may be difficult to sustain. On Thursday, the three-month copper contract on the London Metal Exchange fell by 2.6%, closing at USD 10,897 per ton, ending a six-day streak of gains. Although copper prices have risen by about 6% this month, they remain below the historic high reached at the end of July.
