Meituan launches "Riders can block malicious users"

On October 30th, riders in multiple locations reported that the Meituan rider APP has fully launched the "Block Malicious Users" feature. The product manager of Meituan introduced that the company piloted the new feature in several cities in September this year. When riders encounter inappropriate behaviors such as verbal abuse, harassment, requests for personal information, or drunken disturbances during the delivery process, they can choose to upload recordings, videos, or chat logs as evidence to apply for blocking that user. For one year, the rider will no longer receive orders from that user. Each rider can block up to 2 users, with a blocking period of 365 days, which will be automatically lifted after expiration.
