Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission's Liang Fengyi: Licensed virtual asset platforms will be allowed to share a global order book

On November 3rd, Margaret Leung, the CEO of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, told reporters at the 2025 Hong Kong FinTech Week that the SFC will issue two important guidelines, focusing on two main directions: first, to assist licensed virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong to connect with global liquidity, and second, to achieve full openness for virtual assets aimed at professional investors
