CEOs of multiple energy giants warn: Trump's sanctions on Russia will impact oil supply
Several CEOs of major energy companies have stated that U.S. President Donald Trump's sanctions on two major Russian oil producers will impact crude oil supply. Total CEO Patrick Pouyanne said on Monday at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) that the restrictions on Russian oil companies and Lukoil will lead to delays in crude oil shipments and a slowdown in trade. These two companies account for about 60% of Russia's crude oil supply. BP Plc's head Murray Auchincloss stated that these restrictions have significant effects and are suppressing supply.
