Alibaba Cloud was recognized as a leader in two reports by Gartner

Alibaba (09988.HK) subsidiary Alibaba Cloud announced that it has been recognized by Gartner as a leader in the "2025 Magic Quadrant for Container Management" and the "2025 Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Native Application Platforms."

Jiang Jiangwei, Senior Researcher and General Manager of the Infrastructure Division at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, stated that as digital capabilities become an indispensable element for enterprises, the company will focus on enhancing the efficiency and convenience of digital tool adoption while continuously pushing the boundaries of related technologies.

According to Gartner's report, the container management market size exceeded USD 2.5 billion last year, and it is expected that by 2028, 95% of new AI deployments will use Kubernetes, a significant increase compared to less than 30% currently. Additionally, last year, global cloud-native application platform market revenue surpassed USD 3.5 billion, with spending showing a year-on-year double-digit growth of up to 16.4%. It is projected that by 2029, this market's revenue will exceed USD 7 billion, with a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.1% from 2024 to 2029 (at constant exchange rates)
