So far this year, BYD's sales in the UK have reached 39,103 units, an increase of more than five times compared to the same period last year, while Tesla's sales have declined by 4.5% to 35,455 units.

In just one year, the market positions of the two companies have fundamentally reversed.

In Germany, according to data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority, BYD's registered vehicles in October were more than four times that of Tesla. In the first ten months of this year, BYD's registered vehicles were only 424 units fewer than Tesla.
