
Wee Hur, GSC secure $613.9m Upper Thomson Road site

Wee Hur Holdings and GSC Holdings have secured a 99-year leasehold site on Upper Thomson Road for $613.9 million from the Urban Redevelopment Authority. The site will be developed into a residential project with retail space through a joint venture between the two companies. The award was made on October 31, 2025, and the Goh family, who control both companies, are involved in the project. No other directors or shareholders have interests in the transaction.
They will develop a 99-year leasehold plot for residential and retail use.
Wee Hur Holdings and GSC Holdings have won the tender for the Upper Thomson Road site from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) for $613.9m, according to a filing.
The 99-year leasehold site was awarded on 31 October 2025. The two companies will form joint venture entities to acquire and develop the land into a residential project with complementary commercial space.
According to the filing, Wee Hur’s wholly owned subsidiary, Wee Hur Property, and GSC Holdings will collaborate on the development. The Goh family, who hold a controlling interest in both GSC Holdings and Wee Hur, are directors of GSC.
Wee Hur said that aside from the disclosed shareholdings, no other directors or controlling shareholders have any direct or indirect interest in the transaction.
