Prudential deepens cooperation with IHH Healthcare Group (North Asia)

Prudential (02378.HK) announced that, following its earlier collaboration with IHH Healthcare Group's (North Asia) Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital to provide direct medical expense payment services, it has further expanded its strategic direct cooperation with the group. This collaboration covers the recently opened Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital Day Medical Centre under IHH Healthcare Group (North Asia) and the Shanghai United Family Hospital in Shanghai, providing eligible Prudential customers with convenient and fast direct medical expense payment services.

Prudential has become the first insurance company in Hong Kong to expand the Shanghai-Hong Kong medical network with IHH Healthcare Group (North Asia). Since establishing a partnership with Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital in 2018, Prudential has continuously enhanced its seamless, one-stop medical value-added service experience. This collaboration further responds to the growing demand from citizens for high-quality local and cross-border medical services, strengthening Prudential's cross-border medical ecosystem in major cities in Hong Kong and mainland China.

According to Prudential's "2025 Mid-Year Personal Life Insurance Claims Report," the overall number of claims for direct medical expense payment services in the first half of this year has significantly increased by 87% year-on-year, reflecting the continuous rise in demand for direct medical expense payment services among citizens
