The Greater Bay Area International AI and Robotics Summit opens, with exhibitors including Yushu and UBTECH ROBOTICS

The "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summit 2025," organized by the Productivity Council, was held today (10th) at the Kowloon Tong Productivity Building, along with a week-long themed event "AI and Humanoid Robots in Full Contact," showcasing the practical applications of AI technology in manufacturing, retail, logistics, urban management, and an open exhibition of humanoid robots to the public.

The summit featured several robots, including highly mobile bionic robots capable of performing kicking and jumping actions, as well as humanoid service robots that can package popcorn.

Exhibitors included humanoid robots and robotic dogs from Yushu Technology and Hong Kong agent POICorporation, humanoid robots from UBTECH (09880.HK), humanoid robots and robotic dogs from Zhiyuan Robotics and Hong Kong agent Nuokeda Smart Driving, flexible robotic arms from Feixi Technology, and humanoid robots from Qingtian Intelligent, along with AI intelligent solutions from GPTBots.ai under Aurora.

In his opening speech, Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation and Technology, mentioned that the national 14th Five-Year Plan supports Hong Kong's development as an international innovation and technology center, with artificial intelligence and robotics as priority projects. The establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute is expected next year, and the land for the Shaling Data Park is also open for public bidding.
