On November 11th, according to Tesla's vertical media Teslarati, Tesla plans to carry out a new round of expansion at its Texas Gigafactory, intending to establish a production base specifically for the Optimus humanoid robot. The planned annual production capacity of this production base is expected to reach 10 million units, with production anticipated to start in 2027.
Drone operator Joe Tegtmeyer posted on social media that he observed Tesla's construction team has begun ground leveling and clearing work in the factory area to prepare for subsequent construction.

In contrast, the planned capacity of the new Texas factory will reach ten times that, demonstrating Tesla's strong confidence in the large-scale development of the Optimus project.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has repeatedly emphasized the strategic significance of the Optimus project, stating that it is expected to become &#34;the greatest product in the history of Earth&#34; and fundamentally change the way humans perform tasks, helping people free themselves from repetitive labor.
In earlier remarks, Musk also showcased a more grand vision for production. He mentioned:
