"Performance" Hon Hai's third-quarter profit increased by 17%, exceeding expectations
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. reported a 17% increase in profit for the third quarter to NT$57.67 billion (approximately USD 1.9 billion), exceeding analysts' average expectation of NT$51 billion, while revenue rose 11% to NT$2.06 trillion.
Since last summer, the demand for AI server assembly business has driven Hon Hai's revenue to achieve double-digit growth, and it is expected that this growth momentum will be maintained. In October, the group's sales increased by 11.3%, and it is anticipated that fourth-quarter revenue will show significant year-on-year growth, with substantial growth in annual revenue also in line with the guidance provided in August
