The annual issuance of investment-grade corporate bonds in the United States reached USD 1.499 trillion, marking the second-highest level in history, as companies took advantage of low borrowing costs for debt refinancing and investment. Although it did not reach the record of USD 1.75 trillion set in 2020, the global bond issuance scale has surpassed USD 60 trillion for the first time. The issuance in October set a monthly record, partly due to Meta issuing USD 30 billion in bonds.
