Shares of JB Foods, Food Empire soar on positive earnings

Shares of JB Foods and Food Empire surged on positive earnings reports. JB Foods' shares rose over 17.5% to S$0.70, while Food Empire's shares increased by 6.4% to S$2.50. Food Empire reported a 28.3% revenue increase to US$152.6 million in Q3, driven by growth in Europe. JB Foods reversed a loss to a net profit of US$59.4 million for the first half and announced a special dividend of S$0.028 per share, along with an interim dividend of S$0.002, to be paid in December.
