On November 14th, the Ministry of Natural Resources announced that Liaoning Province has successfully identified the country's first thousand-ton, low-grade super-large gold deposit—Dadonggou Gold Mine. The identified gold ore volume is 2.586 billion tons, with a gold resource amount of 1,444.49 tons and an average grade of 0.56 grams/ton. This is the largest single gold deposit discovered since the founding of New China, pioneering a "short cycle, high quality" gold exploration approach in the country, further consolidating the national gold resource strategic reserve, and significantly enriching the theory of gold mineralization. In the future, it will create a world-class gold industry base to serve the comprehensive revitalization and high-quality development of Northeast China. (Xinhua News Agency)
