Is the White House targeting Alibaba late at night? Everything may stem from "Qwen Panic"
According to reports from Chang'an Street, the Financial Times quoted a memorandum from the White House on Friday, stating that Washington accused Chinese tech giant Alibaba of providing technical support for the Chinese military's actions targeting U.S. interests. In response, Alibaba firmly stated, "The assertions and implications regarding this matter are completely untrue. We question the motives of the anonymous leaker, and the Financial Times also admitted that they could not verify the leaked content. This is clearly a malicious public relations campaign aimed at undermining the recent trade agreement between U.S. President Trump and China." The Chinese Embassy in Washington also refuted the report and stated that China opposes and combats all forms of cyberattacks in accordance with the law
