POP MART rises over 3% against the market as it is reported that Sony has acquired the movie rights to Labubu
POP MART (09992.HK) opened 0.55% higher today (17th) against the market trend, and the increase later expanded, reaching a high of HKD 224.4. It is currently reported at HKD 224, up 3.51%, with a trading volume of 3.1285 million shares, involving HKD 694 million.
Foreign media cited sources indicating that Sony Pictures signed an agreement last week to develop a movie featuring Labubu as the main character. The project is currently in the early development stage, and it has not yet been determined whether it will be a live-action film or an animated film
