The 2025 Dubai Airshow opens, showcasing China's aviation industry in a systematic manner, with the domestic large aircraft C919 making its Middle East debut

On November 17th, the 18th Dubai Airshow grandly opened at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, UAE, showcasing cutting-edge aviation equipment and innovative technologies from around the world. The participation of China's aviation industry became a highlight of this airshow, achieving a collaborative display of civil and military equipment. Two C919 aircraft and one C909 business jet made their debut together, marking the first display of the domestically produced large aircraft C919 in the Middle East, which is of significant importance.

The C919 aircraft exhibited by China Southern Airlines features a 164-seat three-class layout, with an interior designed under the latest theme of "Elegant National Style, Walking in Light," showcasing a new generation of cabin interior design to the Middle Eastern audience, highlighting the ultimate Eastern aesthetics while providing passengers with a more comfortable air travel experience. On the first day of the airshow, visitors to the C919 were enthusiastic, with a large number of exhibitors, media personnel, and professional audiences lining up to board and tour the aircraft.
