Europe's largest software company SAP announced on Tuesday that it can maintain service operations even if foreign governments attempt to cut off its access to Microsoft (MSFT.US) cloud services. This comes after the Trump administration imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court in The Hague, raising concerns in Europe about potential political pressure on American tech giants.

On Tuesday, SAP signed an agreement with Microsoft stating that it will "ensure the continuity of European business operations during times of crisis." According to the agreement, SAP will provide a new product for government clients, Delos Cloud, which can continue to support the operation of Microsoft-related services even in emergency situations involving government sanctions
