HANG SENG BANK optimizes branch network, opening Kowloon's first superior private wealth management center

HANG SENG BANK (00011.HK) announced a significant optimization of its branch network. The latest highlight of the optimization plan is the opening of the first "Premier Private Banking Center" in the Kowloon District at the Kowloon Main Branch in Mong Kok, further enhancing the customer experience. The Kowloon Main Branch opened in 1971 at 618 Nathan Road in Mong Kok and has always been the largest branch of HANG SENG BANK in the Kowloon District, with a floor area of approximately 30,000 square feet, featuring a mortgage center and large safe deposit facilities. The newly established Premier Private Banking Center is located on the second floor, covering an area of approximately 3,400 square feet, and is dedicated to providing comprehensive and exclusive wealth management services for high-net-worth clients.

In addition to the upgrades at the Kowloon Main Branch, HANG SENG BANK will also relocate its Taikoo Shing and San Po Kong branches to more modern and convenient locations. The Taikoo Shing branch, which opened in 1979, has moved to the sixth floor of Taikoo Shing Center, providing spacious and convenient one-stop banking services for customers. The San Po Kong branch, established in 1971, has now relocated to PORT 33 Commercial Building. The new branch environment is brighter and more modern, equipped with foreign currency ATMs and smart counters.

Furthermore, the Tsuen Wan Tai Ho Road branch will be upgraded by the end of November to become the first pet-friendly branch in the New Territories, allowing customers to bring their pets along to conduct banking business. This branch will also add foreign currency ATMs by the end of December, joining the HANG SENG pet-friendly branch network along with the Hysan Avenue (Causeway Bay) and Festival Walk branches.

By the end of this year, HANG SENG BANK will further open a wealth management center at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, providing tailored wealth management and advisory solutions for premier clients.
