They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) and semiconductor company Sequans Communications ( SQNS ) , which climbed 8.7% and 3% respectively.The decliners from continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical Novartis ( NVS ) and biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX), which fell 2.1% and 1.1% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Inventiva ( IVA ) and pharmaceutical company Ascendis Pharma ( ASND ) , which were down 0.5% and 0.4% respectively.From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical companies NuCana ( NCNA ) and Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) , which rose 12.1% and 12% respectively.
